The 400 acres of woods filled with trails, wildlife and remote campsites provides the setting for daily adventures. Fun, friends and new adventures away from home create a valuable and memorable experience. What Else Happens at Day Camp?!

  • Cooking out over a campfire and making a s’more or pie-iron pizza
  • Hiking through the woods or along the beach - enjoying the wonder of nature
  • Outdoor games that promote physical development and burn off extra energy
  • Theatrical fun where kids use their imaginations and become real characters
  • Science exploration—science comes to life and outer space is within the limits
  • Arts and crafts galore that let the imagination wander
  • Relaxation and imagination with stories and storytellers – kids learn to tell stories, too!
  • Singing silly songs that make you smile – or laugh right out loud
  • Camp skills – how to safely build a fire, use a jackknife, leave no trace
  • Your best friends, maybe for life!

What is a Typical Day Like?
Exciting days at camp start when campers are checked in. Campers meet their counselors at 8:30 each day, gather briefly for announcements and a couple of songs, then start making plans for fun and adventure. Each day includes activities around the week's theme, plus many other fun things too.

After 2 or 3 morning activity periods, it's time for lunch. Kids will bring a sack lunch from home, cook a meal as a group, or eat in the dining hall once each week with hundreds of other campers.

In the afternoon there are a few more activities and we wrap up the day with clean up chores and a closing circle. Rest times are taken when counselors gauge the kids need them.
