Camp Sealth: February 23-24 (Sat-Sun), April 5 (Saturday only), November 1-2

Parents and kids can enjoy a weekend in the woods, help Sealth and Niwana prepare for summer and make a difference for thousands of campers each year. Clean up winter storm debris around cabins, clear trails, paint, set up cabins for use, and split firewood before the summer season. Volunteer for a fun, free, family-oriented day or weekend

Schedule for Sealth
Plan to arrive by 9 or 10 a.m. on Saturday to begin your project. We provide lunch at 12:30, then you'll work until about 5 p.m. then clean up for a hearty dinner at 6 p.m. Enjoy your evening at camp. Sunday we will serve breakfast at 8 a.m. and lunch at 12:30 or 1 p.m. for those who work the morning. You may work as many hours as you like on Sunday. Click on this link for driving directions.

Schedule for Niwana
Niwana work parties provide the same work hours as Sealth (above) with one exception: only Saturday dinner is provided for you. If your group or family wishes to camp overnight, bring your own food for Sunday.

Projects
There are many projects at camp both indoors and out. Some possible projects are : painting, cabin repair, trail work, gardening, overall camp improvement, cleaning, splitting firewood, repairing steps and benches, and more. Tree planting happens only March. Almost all projects will happen rain or shine.

Evening Relaxing
Saturday evening is a time for relaxing, making new friends, a campfire, or other camp activities. Bring a musical instrument, games, or other entertainment to share.

Youth Participation
Youth need to be accompanied by chaperone(s). Children under school age should work or play alongside their parents. Children grade K-2 usually work an hour then play an hour. Children grade 3-5 work a couple of hours then play for an hour. Youth 6th grade and older should be able to work most of the day with adult support and appropriate breaks. These are basic guidelines and need to be adjusted for the youth who participate. All youth under 18 who provide at least three hours of service will receive a Sealth Service emblem and a community service letter. Call camp about bringing your youth group (Camp Fire, Scouts, etc.) to a service weekend. We are happy to make special arrangements for youth to volunteer at camp. Non-Camp Fire youth must bring a completed registration form signed by a parent/guardian. Camp Fire youth must bring their special activity form with them.
